Saddleworth Parish Council has a place on the Board of Rochdale United Charities. This charity gives grants to people in need who live in the area of the Ancient Parish of Rochdale, including Saddleworth. Most of the requests are for fridges, cookers, beds washers etc and they have to be sponsored by a social worker, doctor’s surgery, voluntary society official or councillor. For more information please contact Tony Marlor at the Parish Council Offices on 01457 876665.
