PROPOSED CONSTRUCTION OF ROAD HUMPS & 20 MPH SPEED LIMIT ORDER
The Oldham Borough Council hereby give notice that they propose to make the above mentioned Order under Section 84(1) and (2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to impose a speed limit of 20 miles per hour on A670 High Street 90m South of its junction with Bridge Street in a northerly direction to Dobcross New Road

Notice is also given that the Oldham Borough Council in exercise of its powers under the Highways Act 1980, Part V, Section 90A(1) as part of a traffic calming scheme in Uppermill, propose to construct road humps of a type, dimension and at the locations detailed in the Schedule below.
A map showing the locations of the road humps and a copy of the Council's Statement of Reasons for proposing to construct the same, may be inspected between the hours of 8.40am to 5.00pm on Monday to Friday, Civic Reception, Civic Centre, West Street, Oldham, telephone number 0161 770 4836
Any objections or representations regarding the proposal should be sent to env.traffic@oldham.gov.uk or the Environment Group Solicitor, Oldham Council, Civic Centre, West Street, Oldham, OL1 1UL Ref LJM/TO24/17 VF24003 in writing, together with the grounds for making them by 27th September 2024
